The ACA’s Community Paddlesports Leader offering is your entry point to leading on the water.

Leadership Program Details

The ACA’s 2-Day Community Paddlesports Leader Course is the streamlined path for experienced paddlers ready to step into a leadership role. This intensive program shifts the focus from personal technique to group management, situational awareness, and effective communication on the water. Tailored for camp staff, club organizers, and seasoned hobbyists who already hold a Level 1 or 2 Skills Assessment, this course sharpens your ability to plan itineraries and execute rescue solutions with professional-grade confidence. By the end of the two days, you’ll be fully prepared to lead safe, engaging multi-craft excursions for groups of up to 12 in protected, mild-water environments.
