After School Details
This is a unique after-school program allows young paddlers to develop their skills regardless of the weather, mastering essential techniques in the pool before tackling the dynamic currents of the river. Outdoor practices available. More than just paddling, the program fosters leadership, risk management, and teamwork. Participants learn to assess situations, make informed decisions, and work collaboratively, skills that are valuable in all aspects of life. This comprehensive training also prepares them for future opportunities like summer camp counselor positions and kayaking internships. It also serves as a Try-out to join our year-round Youth Kayak Team.
