Costa Rica RAFTING AND KAYAKING Overview
Tropical whitewater kayaking / rafting adventure” Come explore the special whitewater rivers of Costa Rica with eNRG Kayaking instructors and Amazing Vacations staff Dec 2-9, 2023! This whitewater trip is a family friendly experience into tropical rainforest rivers on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica that consists mostly of class II-III whitewater, and a two night stay at the world famous Rios Lodge on the Pacuare River (formerly Rios Tropicales). There is a hike out option from the lodge for anyone not ready to run the more challenging lower gorge of the Pacuare River. We will offer a free rainforest canopy tour for all participants at the lodge! We will also paddle the PejiBaye, and the Sarapaqui Rivers (class II-III+) leading up to the Pacuare experience. This is a great beginner/intermediate trip for hard shell kayakers (We can accommodate different skill levels), and we have inflatable kayak and raft options as well. This collaboration with Amazing Vacations is a perfect way to blend top notch instruction with an authentic experience with Tico guides.
Is your spouse or significant other is a non-paddler? We can accommodate them for $400 extra. Trip price is based on double occupancy with a single supplement for $600 extra. Extensions before or after the trip (beach, hot springs, cloud forest) are available.

PREPARE FOR YOUR TRIP
AFTER BOOKING: Sign online waivers and share them with your fellow party members. Our cost excludes international airfare, but includes everything else starting with your airport transfer, so once you have your plane ticket we will take care of the rest. Our fabulous office in Costa Rica can answer any other logistical questions you might have.
WHAT TO BRING: Summer clothes & bathing suit! We will provide an in depth packing list once you have signed up!
WHERE TO GO: San Jose, Costa Rica.
ARRIVAL TIME: We will coordinate pick up at the airport once you’ve bought your plane ticket.
WHAT WE PROVIDE: All in country costs, boat/gear rental, transportation, guiding, food, airport transfers and a 2 night stay at the Rios Lodge.
POLICIES
CUSTOMIZATION: Please call eNRG Kayaking at (503) 475 – 3357 for large groups or other special requests and exceptions.
RESTRICTIONS: You must be 18 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Further, you must agree to Amazing Vacations terms and conditions to book the trip.
WEATHER: Trips run rain or shine, except during extreme conditions including lightning, high winds, and excessive smoke onsite.
ATTENDANCE: We require at least 4 participants to make this trip run. If we have not met this threshold 60 days out we will cancel the trip.
IF WE CANCEL: eNRG Kayaking reserves the right to postpone or cancel any trip due to inclement weather, under enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, and will issue a full refund in this instance.
IF YOU CANCEL: Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge.
We do not prorate tuition for days missed due to illness, injury, or inappropriate behavior.
