eNRG Kayaking is excited to partner with HVAS to offer year-round paddling programs. We will open up 2 spots each week on our after school program as an Open House for new students to check out paddling and see if it is a good fit for them. Each student can attend a maximum of 2 Open House practices as preparation for our Oregon City Summer Camps.

New HVAS students can sign up for a maximum of two after school practices. These practices are free of charge and will be either indoor pool practice at the North Clackamas Aquatic Center or outdoor practice at eNRG Kayaking in Oregon City. Practice locations are dependent on weather and season.
Two merit based scholarships will be available for students who have:
- Attended at least two after school practices
- Reserved a spot in an upcoming summer camp
Each scholarship can be used for one Family Rafting Trip for a kid + their guardian. One scholarship will be for July Trip and the other for an August Trip. Dates TBA.
Scholarships will be rewarded by eNRG Kayaking on May 31 based on a child’s positive behavior and potential interest in furthering their paddling skills.
Kayaking is a unique sport that does not have to be competitive. Instead, students use mental and physical fortitude to overcome the challenges of the river. This self growth is paired with teamwork when it comes to group safety – teaching students to manage risk in a controlled environment. Plus, with the proper facilities and gear – paddling can be done all year round to prepare for summer camps, racing in the Olympic discipline of slalom, and/or internships.
After completing up to two Open House After School Sessions, students that showed interest in continueing their paddling experiences can attend additional practices through our eNRG Kayaking Club. Enrollment is $50/pool and $25/outdoors.
We recommend students attend summer camps. We offer an extended Early Bird Discount of $45 off before April 30 using promo code: “HVAS”.
PREPARE FOR YOUR SUMMER CAMP
AFTER BOOKING: Sign online waivers and share them with your fellow party members. Waivers must be filled out by each party member on every visit.
WHAT TO BRING: For indoors, bathing suit. For outdoors, clothing that can get wet, wind/rain jacket, additional warmth layers, and a change of clothing. Please wear shoes that stay on.
WHERE TO GO: We will notify you of locations beforehand and if there are any changes.

- Outdoor Practice: 1701 Clackamette Dr. Oregon City OR 97045.
ARRIVAL TIME: Arrive at your start time. No need to arrive early as time has been factored in for changing into swimwear.
WHAT WE PROVIDE: Instructors, craft, lifejacket, helmet, and a paddle. For outdoors, we also provide wetsuits, shoes, and or drysuits for warmth as needed.
OUR CAMP POLICIES
CUSTOMIZATION: Please call eNRG Kayaking at (503) 772 – 1122 for large groups or other special requests and exceptions.
RESTRICTIONS: Ages 7 – 14. Must be at least 50 lbs.
WEATHER: Trips run rain or shine, except during extreme conditions including lightning, high winds, and excessive smoke onsite.
IF WE CANCEL: eNRG Kayaking reserves the right to postpone or cancel any trip due to inclement weather, under enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, and will issue a full refund in this instance.
IF YOU CANCEL: 21+ days notice – 75% refund, free reschedule, or voucher for paid amount. 21-0 days notice – all refund/benefits forfeited.
We do not prorate tuition for days missed due to illness, injury, or inappropriate behavior.
