In 2026 we are upgrading our tubing and inflatable kayak rental program to the most popular section of the Clackamas River - Barton Park to Carver Park. This extends your experience from a 1 mile / 1 hour experience, to a 7 mile / 3.5 hour experience. Our goal is to give you the best floating experience on the Clackamas River just minutes from Portland. Grab your friends for a group float or plan as a fun family-friendly adventure!
Clackamas Tubing Details
This self-guided 3-4 hour Clackamas Tubing rental takes you down 7 miles of the pristine Lower Clackamas River. You will float down small riffles and past deserted beaches, so you have plenty of time to soak up the sun and play!
Enjoy this float through easy rapids with family and friends. Clackamas Tubing shuttles start at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm on weekends between mid-June and the end of August (including Fridays and Mondays on the hottest weeks). If you have a group and are looking for a shorter option, give us a ring and we will try to accommodate your group.
PRICE:
$25/tube, $40/inflatable kayak, $50/tandem inflatable kayak.
+$15/person for shuttle.
$8 park entrance fee.
Prep For Your Tubing Trip
AFTER BOOKING:
Sign online waivers and share them with your fellow party members. Waivers must be filled out by each party member on every visit.
WHAT TO BRING:
Water, sunscreen, clothing that can get wet, and additional warmth layers / change of clothing based on weather.

ARRIVAL TIME:
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. Parking may be limited so factor that into your arrival time.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
Tube, lifejacket (optional), and shuttle (optional).
Our Tubing Policies
CUSTOMIZATION & YOUTH PROGRAMS:
In 2026/2027, several youth conservation and paddling programs will be running this fall in November, December, and January 2027. There will be a Thanksgiving week development training camp for beginning youth (10-15 yrs old), an Int./Adv. Camp (13-17) with Nick Wingston, and a custom program with Tyler Westfall (current USA K1 men's slalom national champion / PWRC elite coach). He will be leading, coaching, and facilitating a program on the Sarapaqui, Pacuare, and Peji Baye Rivers the first week of Jan 2027.

RESTRICTIONS:
No Alcohol allowed. Must be at least 80 lbs and 10+ years old with a parent/guardian. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
WEATHER:
Trips run rain or shine, except during extreme conditions including lightning, high winds, and excessive smoke onsite.
IF YOU CANCEL:
72+ hours notice – 85% refund, free reschedule, or voucher for paid amount. 72-24 hours notice – free reschedule or voucher for paid amount. 24-0 hours notice – all refund/benefits forfeited. We do not prorate tuition for days missed due to illness, injury, or inappropriate behavior.
IF WE CANCEL:
eNRG Kayaking reserves the right to postpone or cancel any trip due to inclement weather, under enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, and will issue a full refund in this instance.
